The Mohican State forest is absolutely beautiful. Ton of trails from biking to hiking to bridle trails. Now I used the backpacking site managed by the forestry division. Clearly marked sites all with fire rings. These are first-come, first-reserve. You cannot reserve online. Just find the Park n Pack and head to your site after registering at the Forestry Div HQ. The rules are reasonable and the trails can make for a fun hike after setup. Some negatives. It's difficult to find location to relieve yourself. Especially during the winter months. Water is limited on the ridge, but the Park n Packs are reasonably close, so you can fill up again. All in all this is a great location to visit and enjoy the beauty God created. Enjoy and preserve. Pack out your trash.

An incredibly beautiful place filled with wonder and adventure. The valley overlook is amazing especially in the fall when the trees are changing color. For the rugged family there's a huge variety of activities from fishing and camping, to hiking, biking, and paddling the rivers. Looking for more? Try a ropes course!

Mysterious, Mesmerizing, Mohican. Mmmm. Seriously though, this place is top notch. A real hidden gem to just unplug and enjoy nature's beauty. Trails for hiking, picnic tables for resting, great roads for exploring by vehicle. Just so much more than a review could explain.

Always enjoy coming here and hiking the trails. The waterfalls are a bonus and best seen after some rain.

Fantastic place to go. Lots of very well marked trails. Beautiful waterfalls. The lodge is amazing! We didn't stay but checked it out. Staff was very friendly. Indoor and outdoor swimming pools. Small video game room. Gift shop. Large dinning area. Banquet rooms. Outside dining area overlooking a gorgeous lake. This place has it all!!!
