I raised my kids on Watonga cheese. We lived in Northern Oklahoma back then and most grocery stores carried it. After the factory closed from the terrible storm, I moved to California. I was delighted when they opened up and I was able to start ordering online. I like the original yellow cheddar. The delivery is fast and the packaging keeps it cool. The flavor is a delicious deep longhorn like flavor and the curds are delightful to snack on. I would highly recommend them to anyone that likes cheese and hope to see the product in grocery stores near me soon.

My very large family and I grew up on Watonga Cheese. I have always especially liked the longhorn cheese. We used to buy it at United Grocery in Cherokee, Oklahoma. I love the rich, creamy taste and like the fact that it is all natural. Recently I have started buying the Watonga Cheddar Cheese Curds to make Fried Cheese Curds for my Smok-Shak BBQ restaurant in Ingersoll, Oklahoma and they have been a huge hit with my customers...especially the Cheddar Pepper Curds. I would highly recommend this cheese to anyone that loves cheddar cheese because this is the best cheese there is and the Watonga Cheese Factory because their customer service is wonderful.
I ordered a 14 lb \longhorn\ of waxed cheddar and some curds. They arrived so quickly, I don't think that the grocery store could have beat them by much. The cheese is a lot better than what I get in the grocery store. It also grates really well with my food processor.
I grew up on Watonga cheese. Some of the best cheese I've had and I've traveled all over the United States mainly buying cheese curds when I can.. I recently placed an order for Watonga Cheese Curds and they got them to me so fast I got to enjoy the squeakyness of the curds, something that's hard to find unless its factory fresh.. I will definitely order again. The cheese is still as good as it was when I was a kid! Great customer satisfaction, communication, and cheese! Thank you Watonga Cheese!!
