Charles Works

A great place to stop in at for Peterborough NH residents and their guests. We recently went there just to walk out on the ice. A beautiful quiet place to relax and walk around. The frozen Cunningham Pond was fun to explore.

Super idyllic and peaceful. Go there when the weather is questionable and you'll have the whole place to yourself.

Local swimming hole. Large swimming area, seperate boat launch. Decent parking but only a few shady spots. In order to access the beach area, you must have a town resident sticker. If you aren't a resident, you can purchase a sticker at the rec department office (in a seperate location in Peterborough). Lifeguards are on duty during the season, bathrooms next to the beach. My kids love it and we go often.
