This place is so special and dear to our hearts. We travel with our 16 year special Jenny and came here one time for care for her. She got bad and we had to put her to rest. She was so afraid of vets offices she would shake terribly. We did not want that to be her last memory. Annie Howell and every one here was so nice, they set us up a spot out side on a blanket she breathed fresh air and we held her and talked to her till the end. It was beautiful. They made the whole experience so much better. Annie, thank you so much and everyone there who made this possible for our baby girl Jenny. Your in our hearts forever.
We have been bringing our dog here for about 4 years. He has multiple allergies and chronic ear infections. Pets First makes it easy for us to come in right away if his ears are flaring up. They have his allergies well managed so that he is barely ever itchy now. The office is responsive and communicative with calls and emails. They are always patient with my many crazy dog mom questions. All the vet techs are friendly and competent. They handle my dog calmly but with lots of praise. We mainly see Dr Harris and she rocks. She is very knowledgeable, compassionate, and honest, (and entertaining!) She keeps it real and helps keep my dog healthy and gives me peace of mind. Everyone there seems to really love the pets they treat. We love that going to the vet doesn't feel stressful, even when we are worried about our dog. Thanks Pets First!
Everyone at Pets First is kind and welcoming. The doctors and everyone who works there are knowledgeable and compassionate. Pets First is a special place, and I highly recommend them.
Last time I was there was Feb 2013, not because of the clinic itself but I just couldn't bring myself to go back after my Keeshond Kaysi died. They were treating him for diabetes and I have to say they've done right by him. Even when he went blind they made sure to let us know how to modify our care for him and he lived happy like he wasn't even sick nor blind. Til he couldn't walk anymore. Diabetes took it's toll on him and I had to make the decision. Dr. Hyde and the rest of the staff were thoughtful and patient with us they allowed me not only to stay til he died but stay with him until I was ready to let go. From the time I 1st brought Kaysi thru their door to the time he died, we as a family was made to feel welcomed and comfortable and I knew Kaysi was in good hands especially with Dr Hyde. I never got to say thank you to all of you at pets first so I will now. Thank you so much for all you've done and as for John I am truly sorry that he's gone may he rest easy.
