I've been here since the beginning of the year and I love it, the teachers are nice and think before giving us assignments. For example, I only got one assignment for the winter break and it didn't take much time. Another reason that makes this school better than my previous school is that the staff are in communication with one another so you can be sure with the facts you here from a counselor. In general, I'm happy that I chose this school and am really glad I didn't choose another school in the area that was closer to my house.

I am a parent. My son has Asperger's. He has been attending since 7th and is now enrolled in the Early College High School program. Overall thoughts: On paper, it is all very polished and impressive, but behind the scenes? I'm pretty sure there is chewing gum and paperclips and maybe a few hamsters on wheels keeping this ship afloat. I don't think any of the groups are talking to each other. - Communication: POOR (and beyond). The only real communication is a weekly email newsletter that has more back slapping congrats than actual information. - Teachers: limited. No options whatsoever. Don't like one? Tough. We had one in 7th that would lay down behind his desk and cuss (he was fired). - Staff: uninformed - Admins: very proud of their degrees but most have very poor communication skills. I usually have to send at least 2 follow up \did you read this?\ messages. - Students: let's just say it was no hardship for him to stay home for virtual learning. Not much is done for bullying and no one wants to arc\ on them since it's such a small school. When a school limits the number of bathroom breaks a student can take and how long they can be gone you know something's just not right. - Parents Volunteers: I think I just say a tumbleweed. There are NONE. I truly had high hopes for this school. My son didn't do well with the huge public school environment. But now, I am constantly wondering if his straight A's are actually A's or just the teachers/admins accepting mediocre work. Hard to tell how well they are preparing him for the future.

We’ve had a great experience at Harmony! My daughter moved mid year and we were looking for a smaller school. We love her teachers and the staff at the school. The classrooms have less kids, better behavior, and more individualized learning. The schedule is block so there is more time spent learning core content. Tutorials are available on the same days each week and the teachers go above and beyond to help the students , as well as with keeping an open line of communication with parents. The student population is very diverse, ethnically and religiously, and we have found them to be very kind and inviting. Uniforms are required and help steer the focus towards academics. We are glad we made the switch to a charter school :)

Every year I had at least one or two teachers with some Mental issues. The rest were cool.

I wish I would have read the reviews before enrolling my child to this type of environment. The Dean and staff do not know how to deal with certain behavior. They don't notify parents at all! In reading reviews kids smoke in the restroom? Where is staff? DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD! BIG MISTAKE! I will do my best to get the word out!
