I loved all the products sold there and the local products made by true fisherman. The lady the first time I went was very nice and extremely patient answering all my questions and being very attentive to what I was saying. Very honest and kind. However the second time there was a older man who was kind of serious and seemed very sarcastic and kinda made it seem I didn’t know what I was talking about, but maybe that’s just his personality. All in all great store for your local fishing tackle needs. Better than academy and they do service so many brands of reels making it very easy for me when I need to fix up my gear.

Picked up a new spinning reel, people who help me out were pretty friendly and easy to talk to. Spotted a used Shimano Calcutta 250, got it for a decent price.. Liked the fact they are fisherman, and not a sporting good store
I needed a guide on my custom rod. Decided to take 5 reels for restraining and a broken penn battle in. After seeing the place and talking to Joe (I'm assuming) decided to let him service my Shimano Stradic. I wasn't disappointed. Fantastic service, no nonsense pricing, he even told me what I didn't need to spend money on. Honest man. I highly recommend Joes Tackle Shop.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I went in there asking for salt water tackle recomendations planning on buying all new gear. I told the old man ( i'm guessing the owner) i have never gone salt water fishing only freshwater. He did not once look at me while we spoke. When he did answer a question he did so like i was dumb and with this attitude like how dare i come in his store and waste his time asking questions before spending hundreds of dollars buying his product. Then some guy walked in buying bait and he totally ignored me, i literally stood there for several minutes while he talked to the other guy about one of their friends or something. I just walked out and went to academy. After speaking with other anglers it appears this guy has done this to other customers, would not recomend this business don't waste your time and money with them.
Took my penn 6500ss for maintanance, picked it up looking and functioning like new. Great work, lots of experience. Good prices.
