I feel they had more choices before renovating

Don't let them recommend an installer, we had hurricane damage and needed new tile. The salesman ,Melecio, recommended his friend Kevin. We had a bad experience with Kevin, he showed up to give us an estimate and showed up to collect the payment. Not once did he check his worker's work, not even when the job was done. They took 9 days to finish 750 sq feet, we were without our stove, fridge, and furniture all this time. We got feed up that we just paid him. The tiles are not even, we have grout missing, and he wanted more money than the estimate he gave us. Please ask for a written estimate, don't believe what they tell you, and make sure they give you a finish date.
