Just taking a bathroom break and filling up my car on the way to San Diego. It's almost midnight, and the lady at the counter was so friendly and super attentive. Bless her and give her all the raises. Also, both bathrooms are gender inclusive and there is hand sanitizer on the gas pumps.
Great scenery, i.e. Morman Rocks, etc.. The gas station isn't that great. Circle K is okay.. Pretty just just fill your tank and scoot.
This place is surrounded by great scenery. However it is blighted by trashy people loitering. Also, the Del Taco was pathetic for 1 employee running both the drive through and the inside with 1 cook, despite how busy this place is. Isn't Del Taco supposed to be fast food? I ran across to typically gross Subway across highway 138 to find that it was closed so I ran back to find myself behind 2 more customers in this s-l-o-w-w-w-w-w-w-w-w line. I spent almost an hour here - SHOULD HAVE BEEN 20 MINUTES on my way home to San Francisco from Carlsbad.
