Just finished this program and can’t rate it high enough. I went into it knowing 0% about how to bartend and now feel confident enough to step behind a bar tomorrow and do the job! The job placement seminar with Alex was incredibly helpful, as well. My resume looks great, I know exactly what type of job I’m looking for, and I learned great interviewing skills. I highly recommend this program.

Love this place ️️ keeping it fresh! I’m a returning student. New book New stuff I’m not complaining... Tuff class but worth the price. You will never at bartending the same way after taking classes here.

I do not drink alcohol but was able to try some great non alcoholic drinks. I also found out that shrubs come from Sharab, which is Arabic, and the staff was very accommodating. The matcha drink is amazing, Ori was awesome and friendly. I learned a new drink to make at home as well and got a PDF and textbook with more recipes.

Update (5/9/19): Aqua Vitae has made a private donation to the American Cancer Society on behalf of my ill family members as a gesture of good will. It is much appreciated. SUPER UNPROFESSIONAL. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS. 1) The director pressured me into a meeting without providing any context about the program. 2) During our initial phone call, the director interrupted me continuously. Although he requested it, he refused to listen to my purpose for inquiring about the program nor details about my previous experience. He continuously referenced that I was looking to become a bartender, when I told him time and time again that I am an experienced event designer and critic with no interest in full-time bar-tending. 3) I was forced to reschedule last minute due to a close family member suddenly falling sick. I sent an e-mail apologizing for the inconvenience. In response, the director left a voicemail berating me for my irresponsible tendencies. He said I would have been fired for it, and he didn't want to \pretend to be sensitive\ or \act 'nicely'\ about it because it would give me the wrong impression of his high standards... He ended our correspondence via an e-mail rant that bashed higher education (as I am pursuing my doctorate) and my disinterest in sharing personal information with him - a total stranger. I never had the chance to register for the program, yet I was thoroughly reprimanded due to uncontrollable circumstances. Moving forward, I will recommend that my bartenders train elsewhere; I do not wish for them to develop bad habits as exemplified.

I definitely recommend this school if your looking to get some proper bartending training. The facility is AMAZING and the staff is super HOT!! It’s a legit school with 3 stories, a classroom AND a library! how COOL is that?! Definitely going to come back to get my mixology certificate too! Love you guys and thanks so much. Best bartending school in Philly for sure!
