The service was quick and friendly. The interior is beautiful and well-crafted. While I agree with others that it is a little pricey, I would say that the dishes I tried were unique and flavorful. Maybe pad thai isn't that unique, but it was really good and not too sweet. I saved room for dessert and was really happy with the green tea torte. I'll be back. Four stars because portions don't match the prices.

A decent Asian fusion restaurant in university city. They have a good ramen while their beef with tomato sauce was a bit too salty. If you would like a more genuine Asian food place I would recommend Han Dynasty just up the street.

Had an exceptional meal at Danlu, with great service. Tried almost the whole menu, the standouts are the duck he fen, beef tenderloin, ramen and the crispy chicken. Cocktails were also great, the xing xang was the group favorite. Desserts were good, especially the mango/chocolate sorbet. The space is very well designed and with ample seating. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent, the flavors were balanced (spicy enough to tingle but not so much it overran the taste of the dish), presentation was visually appealing. The small plates worked well, since you had the opportunity to taste a number of courses without breaking the bank. Server was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. Decor was warm, inviting, and modern, and not overly loud. Beer selection was large and varied, and the cocktails were original and tasty.

Awesome soup and small plates. Lots of flavor and great presentation. The draft beer list is big with a lot of niche breweries. I had the Chicken Wonton lemongrass soup - dark broth, flavorful, mild heat. Xi’an red-braised pork on iron pan bread (like a dense English muffin?). With pickled jalapeños - great sauce, could’ve eaten several of these. And Taiwanese porks sausage with fried brussel sprouts. Umami! The ambiance is great too. I was here midday so it was slow. It has lots of light, high ceilings, and a big dining area. And GREAT service!

Food was absolutely fantastic. It was a little bit pricey, but well worth it. They have a gorgeous tapas menu and creative delicious cocktails. My only complaint is that the wait staff was a little uncomfortable. When we finished a plate, our server would approach but just stand there, not saying anything, and wait for us to ask for help. With a good server, its up to them to know when to approach the table and ask to clear the plates. Still fantastic, would dine here again.

The food is tasty but the place seriously needs a vegan option on their menu, ideally more, and a vegan or vegetarian option for their happy hour menu! They offer great options for informal get togethers by letting you reserve a section of the bar plus a high top table at no charge. Perfect for work events where you don’t have a budget to prepay for a set number of people.
