The best in Philadelphia for Original flavor! Captured the taste of Indonesia right here in old Philadelphia. Deserves 6 stars.

Ordered delivery, food is still delicious after cold, that’s how tasty it is! Can’t wait to visit the location in person.

Djakarta is truly a hidden gem and hole in the wall type of restaurant that exists in the heart of Downtown Historical Philadelphia. If you want truly authentic and down to the roots of Indonesian cuisine, this is the restaurant for you. If I could put more than 5 stars, I would. Being that I am of Indonesian heritage, I know what true Indonesian cuisine tastes like. Do not expect the shallow Americanized sweet and sugary and less seasoned and less spicy type. Indonesian is definitely highly seasoned and spicy and packed with flavors. Prepare your gut to train and eat Southeast Asian cuisine at its finest. Whichever you will order, appetizer or cuisine, you will be pleased with the results. That is, if you can handle the highly seasoned and spicy cuisine of Indonesia.

The wonton soup was fabulous. Unlike it's name sake. Broth was not like the old water people use from boiling plain chicken
