Reasonably priced Mexican food, great drinks and perfect outdoor socially distanced set up. The service was great and the food was tasty and fresh. We are thoroughly pleased with our socially distanced date night at El Vez. We did make a reservation for indoors but they were not ready and needed an extra 15 min to set us up inside. We chose to sit outside since there was an available table. We were not disappointed despite sitting on top of traffic which is not ideal. We were comfortable, warm and able to enjoy our meal and drinks.

Great place and great food. The service was outdoors due to the virus, but it was still great. We got a couple handcrafted margaritas which were awesome and the guacamole was delicious. By the time we finished our burritos were we stuff and a bit tipsy. This place is a must when in Philly!

I ordered the red enchiladas for delivery and the flavor, portion, and quality was genuinely ideal. The enchiladas had a unique and inspired approach. I nearly always order enchiladas when I have Mexican, and these were special and memorable, which is what I look for when I eat out. I want an unexpected twist on a classic, and that’s exactly what I got. They came with a side of beans and rice which were great too. The beans and rice were more mild in flavor which complimented the indulgence and full flavor of the enchiladas. I will definitely order again, I look forward to trying more of the menu. I’d heard great things and El Vez certainly lived up to the positive reputation.
