I'm getting back to sewing. Going in a fabric store for the first time to do get some serious projects going and my eyes lit up when I went in there. I was like a kid in the candy store. I cant wait to find out if I'm missing anything and go back because it looks like everything you need would be there. I met an eclectic worker with her own made yoga pants on, who told me about a pattern website... I fell terrible for forgetting her name in my excitement but she was dopesauce. I cant wait to go back

Gaffneys is a great fabric store with some amazing fabrics; always surprises! The staff is patient and helpful. It's fun to chat with people who come from all over. I would love to see a bit more 'high-end' prints and wovens!

I've been shopping at Gaffney's since 1976 and even worked there for a minute. I will say the quality has gotten a LOT better over the decades. At this point the staff is great. Nice selection for neighborhood fabric shop. Just look carefully at the African prints, some seems to be flawed. Otherwise, fair prices, nice selection, great sales. You never know what you'll find. Just came from there today.
