Really good cider! Hail to the hop was tart, dry, and delicately bitter- easy to drink and exactly what I was looking for. With cider, I can’t usually drink more than one. This one, I could easily drink... a lot of it.

Such a cool spot! It's open and clean and sort of cozy in a way. They've got a great selection of beverages (I recommend the cider flight) and the staff is super nice. They'll let you bring in food from Nomad Pizza across the street too which is pretty cool. I'd say this is a great after dinner date spot.

Hale and True is the whole package. I have felt totally safe here during the pandemic, whether stopping in for a socially distanced drink under the awnings and heating lamps or picking up a six pack or growler to go. The ciders are delicious and innovative, and I really respect their local and responsible sourcing ethos. Try the Hail to the Hop or POGA! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and if you are lucky enough to meet one of the owners, you’re in for a real treat! Thankful for small business practicing authentic craft, and providing me with that delicious dry cider flavor that I crave through the fall and winter months!

Surprising little cidery that we happened upon on our way to lunch. The branding and architecture of the location is on point. Clean lines and well designed. The ciders were all solid with the standout being hail to the hop. These are all dry, meaning minimal added sugar, so be prepared for the taste if you are expecting a sweeter cider. Will be back for a growler for a lighter option

Best Cider I have ever had in my life. Great little location that you can sit down COVID style or get small or large growlers to go

Such inventive, clearly well-thought out and carefully crafted ciders. Nicest owners. They taught me to love cider. And the POGA cider is bonkers.

Wanted to check out the new-ish cider place in Philly. Has excellent dry ciders on tap. Great atmosphere and the bartender was able to answer most of my more nerdy questions about the cider itself (methods, yeast, apples). Would definitely recommend if you are a fan of dry ciders.
