Visited in 2006 and really loved all of it. The Olympia has always stayed in my mind as an amazing transitional ship. I'd visited so many WW2 ships over the years, as well as sailing ships and to see a vessel so obviously between the two in the technological shift was fascinating. She is a one-of-a-kind treasure. I also really enjoyed the shipyard diorama inside the museum and spent a lot of time studying it. Well worth a visit---I was down from New York.

Very interesting to see, socially the submarine. We went in the winter so not mangy people, actually we were the only ones, so we were able to take out time and enjoy. Did not know that subs have multiple floors, although we had access to only one we were able to see all the important parts. The submarine is not recommended for people with disability since it's hard to move from section to section

Museum is divided in two parts, main building and a ship & a submarine. Ship and submarine are quite fun for all ages. They are filled with historically accurate memorabilia. Main building has many exhibits, among them is one about slave trade and also another about the national debate about creation of US navy in the early days of the US. All in all it is good fun.

We were thrilled to book our Daughter’s Sweet 16 Birthday Party on the Rooftop of this Museum after seeing how beautiful this event space was. Absolutely stunning view of the Delaware River at night! Our Host Lawrence ensured us that we would not be disappointed, and he was certainly right! Thank you Lawrence for helping us plan every step of the way! The quality of service you provided our party with was impeccable!
