Excellent doctors and surgeons who will take extra time to answer your questions and thoroughly explain procedures.

I scheduled an appointment for my 18yo son that had to be rescheduled after waiting over a month. I called to reschedule and after a 25 minute wait Al-nisa would not allow me to reschedule without speaking to my son. I was not asking for ANY protected health information and I’m the one that scheduled the appointment. There was no HIPAA violation in allowing me to reschedule. The office staff needs to be educated properly on HIPAA laws.

Getting an appointment is hard enough, especially when the doctor never shows up. What's the point of acting like your getting an appointment if they are not going to see a doctor anyway?

I have been going to Jefferson Urology for many years. I see a Nurse Practitioner who is so kind and listens to my issues. My Dr./ surgeon is superior as is his nurse. They treat me like family because I have been going there 14 or 13 years every 3 weeks or more sometimes. I am grateful to have such a caring, supportive, and professional yet they always make me feel comfortable. I had a very bad experience one time when for reasons that obvious this nurse does not comprehend the complexities of my other issue days in me to be late . This one time I was running very late due to my other uncontrollable issue that she is aware of . I called prior to getting there . and Nurse Practitioner was so busy she said come in. When I got there and was waking behind this nurse she actually was so unprofessional that she said what is it with your lateness. You are holding up my nurse practitioner. I have a few issue with DID and was so embarrassed that she was saying this very loud. I rarely ever get angry but I cursed her. She should know the circumstances that had evolved prior to her saying these words that just were not true. I told her I had called When my RNP came in the exam room , I told here what had transpired. She was like I know you called and I was running late too so I actually would not have seen you until now. Thank goodness that the rest of the staff always treat me so kindly. Harvested to say this. But...I would not go anywhere else for my condition.
