I got my wife's engagement ring from Winthrop (Feb 2017) and she quote, "totally loves it". They did a wonderful job and are extremely honest. Get off the row and come inside. Their shop is small and intimate. They are extremely personal and make you feel like a valued customer. I will recommend them to all my friends.

I was looking for places to get an engagement ring to propose to my girlfriend (now fiancé). A coworker of a family member recommended to go to Winthrop Jewelers. I met with Winthrop Jewelers and with a few other shops on Jewelers row. Other jewelers were constantly trying to upsell me, providing me with rings that were 'slightly' over the budget I stated. Winthrop jewelers ended up being awarded my purchase as I felt like I was treated as they would've been treat if I were a family member. They were courteous, polite and communicative throughout the whole process. To be honest, I was a little skeptical going with what I perceived to be a smaller jewelry shop on Jewelers Row. That skepticism was eliminated after the first time I met with Maggie. I have a tendency to be very thorough with expensive purchases and this was no different. Getting a custom ring made the entire process, from spitballing what I was looking for, to receiving the ring in hand was two months. During the entire process, I worked exclusively with Maggie exchanging phone calls, text messages and meeting in person. During this experience, Maggie provided me with feedback as to what look for in a ring, if what I was thinking of was in-budget, and offered some feedback on the ring when asked. Overall, this was an excellent experience. If you are looking to propose and want a beautiful ring at a fair price, I would strongly recommend paying Winthrop Jewelers a visit.
