This was the first museum I've been to since Covid, and it was so nice to be able to return! The museum is taking precautions seriously, they're strong on mandating masks and taking temperature at the doors. Hand sanitizer stations are frequently around. Some art installations (a certain Duchamp door comes to mind) are closed off for now to prevent close contact. But the art is still beautiful and the space is still inspiring. It's definitely what's needed for the soul right about now.

The Philadelphia Museum of Art is famous for more than its abundant artwork inside; it is also famous for its famed entry staircase which was featured in the Rocky movie series. This historic building is about an hour from my hometown and it is a frequent place to visit when in the city of Philadelphia. As shown in the pictures, there are many stairs and steps both inside and outside of the building, however there are ramps outside and elevators inside to allow for greater accessibility to the attractions. The museum has very wide walkways inside and outside the building (where there is a beautiful garden and view) even before the pandemic which allows for greater space to maneuver. Additionally, the last time that I went to the museum, I recall that there was an option to either download an app on your phone or to get a headset from the front desk that would audibly describe the paintings and sculptures along with read aloud the small blurbs of background information provided next to the art pieces. Overall, this is an accessible and fun location to relax and enjoy art for anyone and everyone.

First time ever at the museum and it did not disappoint. So many exhibits. Easy to park (34 for \u003c4 hours on a Saturday). The building is massive, you probably can't do it all in one trip unless you're willing to walk around for like 4 hours. Can't wait to come back and see what I missed. Reserve tickets in advance for quick entry. COVID protocols were adhered to very well by staff and other visitors.

If you live in Philly, then get the annual pass for sure. The whole neighborhood around the museum is great. The river, the parks, boathouse row, the city. The great thing about getting the annual pass is that you don't have to feel obligated to spend the whole day inside the museum. Just pop in and out as part of a wonderful day in the best part of Philly.

Philadelphia has a gem of a museum. From Monet to Picasso to Bellini to Frederic, there is something for everyone to see. The current selection of Asian art is astounding, specifically the Indian exhibits. The armor rooms were interesting since I hadn’t seen such a large collection before. I appreciated how spread out the art was so there was room to appreciate it before moving on to the next exhibit. We spent about 3-4 hours there and saw most of the exhibits. You could definitely spend more time if you were to read all the exhibits or want to study them more.
