Lovely walk to the statue, which is close enough to park entrance for bringing kids or otherwise needing a shorter excursion.

I have always wanted to find this statue. When I saw my friend's post that he and his family had walked the trails to the statue I insisted they take me. Thank you Robert Outterbridge and family for making my dream come true!! Pictures prove the fact. For people with joint issues, take something before you go! But take the challenge and enjoy!
