The new restrictions and requirement that gyms close is very good, we need to prevent spread of Covid. And the manager of this gym speaking out against that is nothing but greed. I wouldn't support this place after the pandemic not with such irresponsible management.

So I became a member four months ago with my new job. Awful facility. Today was the last straw. Tried the food for the first time. The guy running the food stand and it was covered in mold. Disgusting. Go to lifetime instead. It’s cheaper too

Ordered delivery. After three hours of calling the phone number on record, which only ever went to a full voicemail box, I cancelled thru Grubhub. Utter incompetence. UPDATE: Apparently it’s actually a gym, and they’re offering food service thru Grubhub. It’s still terrible and to be avoided at all costs, but now it makes more sense why.

This is an update to the review I wrote on another platform. In short, my review was that it was ridiculous for the gym to not allow access to facilities such as pools or basketball courts to anyone under 18 except during children’s hours. This affects guests of the nearby hotel. Anyway, this time during children’s hours, I find out that anyone under 18, even a 16 or 17 year old, needs an adult nearby to use the pool or basketball courts. Not to mention, 16 and 17 year olds are not even allowed to access the exercise equipment on the third floor. Out of all the hotels I have been to, I have never been denied access to the pool as a teenager. Furthermore, I need supervision to even go to the pool during children’s hours. When I go to the basketball court, most of it is occupied by people playing pickle ball. A suggestion would be to create separate times for people to play pickle ball and a separate time for people to play basketball. Back to my previous point, I would suggest that anyone over the age of 13 can use both the first and second floors of the sporting club at any of the opening hours and without adult supervision. Anyone over the age of 16 can use the first, second, and third floor without adult supervision. Lastly, anyone under the age of 13 can use the first and second floors with adult supervision. This would eliminate the need for “children’s hours” and allow the nearby hotel to be more like any other hotels. Judging by what others have wrote, it seems like the gym facilities are quite poorly maintained, though I have not seen the pool yet. The future of the sporting club seems bleak if changes are not implemented quickly.

I feel sorry for the investors. Has potential but awful sales department. This attempt to have an exclusive, snobby atmosphere hinders the possible revenue this gym can generate. I cringed when I left, since I was considering joining. Hopefully there will be more focus on a friendly inviting atmosphere.
