8/29/2020 My son loved chatting it up with the volunteer about the HO Scale layout. I thought it was cool that someone donated an Empire Rail sign to the museum. I hope the steam engine is able to be restored some day. The location next to RailExplores is ideal... a perfect place to mingle while waiting for the adventure.

Fascinating place near the Catskills mountains. Hand cranked individual rolling stock running on a dedicated railroad track, with some old carriages and memorabilia . To avoid disappointment book your ride in advance as it’s very popular

I’m sure it’s a great museum, but it’s only open during the summer months. There is no indication on their web site (or I missed it) or here, that they’re closed all winter and will open in May.
