It is not a bad school but the problem was with the teachers. Every year there would be different teachers and even during the school year and it would be a problem for kids and parents. But how they taught my kids,mostly my older kid, was very well.
Wonderful group to work with (co-workers and administrative team)!! It's not everyday that you find teammates that are professional and a pleasure to be around. Teachers / Admin really care about our scholars and their families. It's amazing what we have accomplished in such a short time (taking our studies from brick and mortar to online / distance learning). Teamwork made it happen!
As someone who has transitioned from a teacher to a school leader at AMS, I can confidently say that the school, the network, and all stakeholders are committed to providing all of our kids a high-quality education. Working with fellow leaders within the network, I have realized just how open and receptive we are to feedback in order to grow stronger. Each year, we focus our efforts on creating the best possible experience for our students, families, teachers, and staff within our halls and classrooms. We are committed to reflecting constantly upon the work that we do that is necessary to give all students the opportunity to succeed. I am proud to be a part of a network that recognizes there are challenges in our line of work and responds to them by planning purposely and working relentlessly to overcome them.
I have taught kindergarten at AMS Flower for two years and have enjoyed every moment. The curriculum I teach provides challenges for my scholars and wonderful opportunities for growth! The Flower campus is small in size, but enormous when it comes to teacher support, great administrators and awesome community cohesiveness. If you value, education, our school is a great choice!
