My husband and I just went here to get new hiking shoes. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and they fit us with the perfect shoe. I have used this place for many years. They have camping and backpacking rent. After renting once I bought all my gear from them. Was it a little more expensive that you can get online or through some cheap outlet? Yes, but my gear is high-quality and was expertly fitted and picked for my needs. I will continue to get my gear here. Support the small business and get expert advice versus a big retail store.

Have been shopping here for all my climbing and on rope needs. The staff is friendly and more knowledgeable of gear than any joint in town. The selection is also unbeatable. They are especially awesome when they don’t have an item. They will take your info and keep updating on the status of the items via phone which is super cool! Multiple products they have given me a phone call about and I came to pick them up! Great service and awesome store! Suggest to everyone, support local businesses!!
Went in for some hiking boots and was blown away by the great customer service! John helped me with my shoe fitting and was extremely helpful in helping me find the perfect pair for me. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for hiking boots!!
Helped us rent out the proper gear for our hike to Havasupai. We rented two in-frame backpacks, 2 person tent, two sleeping pads and bags (not necessary), jetboil, rat sac, hiking sticks, and a water filter (not necessary). Best prices I found for a five day rental.
