Such incompetence! I had a service request in to transfer my business service (phone and internet) on 1/20/20. Technician comes out says he can’t do it because he can’t find the phone cables. We locate the phone cables and put in another service request for 1/22/20. I called to see where the technician was only to be told that they couldn’t transfer our service because of the conduit. Not only did a technician never knock on the door to speak with us but there was no sign of any CenturyLink employee on any single camera. They did not even come out. The incredibly rude “escalation manager” was useless and only knew to say one phrase “I understand your frustration”. They told me they could get someone out on 1/26. What good does it do me to have a technician appointment if they keep not showing up or not doing their job? I’ve lost DAYS of business because of this ridiculously incompetent company.

I paid for the installation which btw I had to do. The download speeds are not what they advertised and the upload speeds are morbid. It might be just in my area, but idk.
Centurylink has horrible customer service. It takes forever to get ahold of someone (you often get hung up on or transferred over and over) and when you finally do, they rarely know what’s going on. We resolved an issue on the phone one week only to have our service disconnected the following week for the issue we resolved on the phone with the the week prior. Take your business somewhere else if you’re looking for good personal service.
My services were setup today and I will be canceling the same day. The wifi they provide is unbelievable bad. You’ll never be able to watch a 1080p video or use apps like YouTube tv or Netflix it simply can’t handle it. My mobile hotspot runs 10x faster than this thing. 1.5 mbps will be the most you get. The service is a joke, I don’t know how they get away with the false advertising.
Horrible service. 8 minutes plus to speak to a person. Repair tickets canceled at random. Very disappointed. Planning to change service. This is the only place that hangs up on you during a call.
