Christian Family Care agency, from the counseling side. In a word: Awful. Oh, you wanted more words? Terrible, deaf, traumatizing, terrifying, rage inducing, demeaning, horrible, awful, terrible excuse. My \therapist\ and I use that word loosely denied my allegations of abuse from my adopted father. Completely just out of hand decided I was lying. She, along with my mom and dad teamed up to make the official report themselves to make him look better. Then they spent the next year's demeaning me under the guise of helping me. Now, as a child I had a lot wrong with me. As an adult I have a lot wrong, in large part because of what these people did to me. And what they did was they refused to listen. I was 12, 13, 14, 15 years old begging for someone to listen to me. Apparently nobody in this entire organization thought it was odd that a tween-aged girl couldn't trust her parents, accused them of abuse without ever changing stories suspiciously, and they thought it was perfectly reasonable to treat someone in the grades of 6-9 in the gifted programs like a 3 year old child. I was forced to lay in my abusers laps while they force fed me jello and pudding. I was forced to play in sandboxes and tell them that I felt my anger in my big toe. You want to know where I feel my anger now, Heather and CFCA? In the tip of my middle finger. I point it to you every time I pass the cursed building. I get panic attacks driving by. You thought it was okay, normal, and helpful to send me away for days, weeks, months or years at a time to punish me for poor behavior. Behavior that only got worse and worse as I was forced more and more to try to \bond\ with people who were abusing and brainwashing me . My advice? Stay away. Far, far away. Yes this was obviously written by a disgruntled former client but they do more damage than help. I am living proof. I'm in therapy now just because of the \therapy\ they put me through. Let this organization die out lest they do more harm.

Christian family care is been like a second family to us! They gave us everything that we needed to know and all the right tools and mapped everything out perfectly for us in order to start the process of adoption. We adopted our beautiful daughter through them and are very thankful for everything they’ve done for us!
A Chrisrian faith based, family centered foster/adopt agency. If you are thinking about fostering or adopting contact these guys. They walked us through the process in a safe, informative and non-threatening way. They are living the Christ centered ministry of reaching children in this hostile world.
Horrible organization. Haven't seen my son in years. They promised that would never happen. They allowed my parents to take my son away with me never seeing him again. My own parents! Wow! This organization is not Christian, and they obviously have a deal with the devil. I am an ordained minister, and these people have no ties with any reputable Christian organization. They are liars and thieves, and I have the paperwork to prove it.
Post trauma care for my daughter 17 yrs ago was a Godsend. Child play therapies were amazing. She is a well adjusted, productive and positive young adult.......Thank You All!
