If I could give more than five stars I would. The food was delicious but it was the customer service that was truly top notch. From serving something extra with dinner, to helping box the food, the experience was absolutely out of this world. I will definitely be back. The butter chicken and garlic naan was perfect for a first timer. The samosas were also great. What a fabulous find!!!

Where to begin...awesome little family-run business! Incredibly friendly, attentive service and the food was some of the best Indian we have had since moving to the valley! There is a boy and older girl cousin combo who work as wait staff and they are absolutely charming and so proud of their work. Pretty awesome that their parents give them the opportunity to work and to learn those soft skills of communicating with customers. The food is rich, flavorful, and all family recipes. Everything is reasonably priced for the quality and portions. You won't be disappointed! Definitely going to be back and bring friends and family.

Extremely welcoming hosts. Awesome food. Highly recommend! We generally enjoy trying new restaurants as opposed to returning to the same ones, however this is one restaurant that We wish can return to many times over but unfortunately we are visiting AZ and from OH. Thank you for the lovely dining experience!

Honestly the best (1) service and (2) Indian food I’ve ever had. Our group felt like family from the minute we walked in the door. The owners made several recommendations and they were all right on point. I’m only sad that I don’t live in Phoenix...if I did I would be eating here every week, at least. Do yourself a favor and check out this incredible hidden gem.

Our first time at this understated Indian food restaurant. We went because it's close by, and some reviews said it had vegan options. The food and the service was great, so we will definitely be back for more. My favorite was the Gobhi Manchurian.

City of Spice was absolutely the best Indian restaurant that I've ever been to! The food was incredible and the staff was truly wonderful. Really felt like being around family. Went there for lunch, and thought the prices were very reasonable for the high quality of food. I would highly recommend City of Spice for authentic Halal cuisine. It's my new favorite restaurant in Phoenix. Loved this place!

Fantastic food and even better people. Me and my wife visited while we were in Phoenix for work. Ahmed is so smart and such a confident child. The owner offered us chai just because we were from out of town and after we had already paid our bill. His generosity and humbleness is already visible in Ahmed. The owner's wife was wonderful as well. Delicious food, a must visit. We will be back next month. Thank you Ahmed and everyone there.
