Discovered this place just because i was looking for something new. It is in an office building. Might not have found it if I wasn’t looking for a deli. They have a decent breakfast menu, but haven’t tried it yet. I went during lunch on a Monday. Ordered the tuna salad on multigrain bread. It comes with a pickle. The albacore tuna tasted good, with a hint of dill. Lot of Mayo though. I might go again. The staff was very friendly. I wish the prices were a little lower.

First time eating here today. The food was absolutely excellent! I got the garden salad w/half sandwich. Everything was prepared exactly as I asked and the staff was friendly and helpful. This is a true hidden gem! I’m going to make this my new go to spot for lunch. I can’t wait to try the soup and hot sandwiches. The sweets are great too!
The deli serves up some good food; but, for whatever reason, I seem to have gotten on their bad side. The first time I went there, I waited for about 25 minutes for a salad, noticing about five people that came in after me were served first. They had forgotten about me. I had meetings the rest of the day and no time to eat, so I canceled my order. I've tried them a couple of other times, and it seems I get a bit of attitude from them every time. Today, I went to get a salad and got the same cold shoulder. But I had been told if we work in the building there was a discount. I told them and was basically told good for you. You know, I know how hard retail is - especially food service. And maybe I was a little abrubt when asking for my refund ( I was in a hurry), but I've tried to be extra nice to them since. I had my last salad there today. I'd rather not give my money to someplace that seems to not like me very much. I'll bring my lunch from now on.
This place is very busy so give yourself some extra time. City Square Deli & Grill is a little hard to find as it's inside of another building, but definitely worth it among the options in the Deer Valley area. The B.L.A.S.T. wrap was delicious - will order again! Everything is prepared fresh in front of you. Can't wait to try other items!
Ordered the City Square Classic and it was 7.37 including tax. The sandwich had a good helping of turkey, ham & bacon. Very good sandwich and I would buy again
