I will be 8 years sober on 10-10-2018. This program is by far one of the most memorable places that has helped me with my recovery. It works if you work it. I am a felon that is now working and will retire with my family in a new home we just purchased. This program helps me believe in myself, helps me stay focused. Yes I said helps, because you are always welcomed back with open arms and their teachings and structure is what I use every day in my recovery.

Very disheartening to have to go to these classes to help in recovery, to stay clean. Unfortunately, several individuals attend these classes while high. Dipping out in class, tell tale signs. Of all the places or people these classes have the most triggers. This should be the total opposite. We are made to go here, have no other recourse. The folks that still use are made to go as well. Even if they do not participate because they are unable to they still get credit for going. Trying to move forward and to do better and live a clean and sober life, is hard to do anyway. To have to see it right in front of your face, in a place that should be safe is ridiculous. The classes are long so always enough time with breaks to use. So if you are looking for help to stay on the straight and narrow this would not be the place. On the other hand if you would like to get high and dip out in class and not have to participate or to even find a buddy to use with, or to buy drugs then you have found the right place. I'm not trying to be funny as this does sadden my heart for people that are trying to do the right thing as anyone that has known or is a recovering addict it is a hard and painful journey . Recovery is possible this place does not make it easy as you look and remember with a sigh what it was like. Good luck to all.
