After 25 to 30 years in the Arizona heat our cables got old and needed to be replaced. The man that came out on Jan. 2 and replaced and added new cable to the whole house, I wish I could remember his name because he deserves a raise. He did a fantastic job! Good people make a good company.

Lets see if the moderators let this review actually be seen publicly. Having lived in the Valley for almost 2 decades there's one thing to say about Cox \communications\ and that is that they are awful. They have a monopoly on the valley, terrible service, terrible product, and horrible prices that they routinely increase without ever improving their service to pre-existing customers. Move into any housing built from the early 2000's and earlier and you will have an inferior line so the only thing Cox truly guarantees is that you will have repeated dropped service and they will lie to you over and over again and say that they provide only the best, disclaimer is though that the only customers they do cater to are the wealthy. Thats right, if you live in a rich neighborhood they'll respond, you want to know why you have sit around all day from 8-5 in a 3 day window well thats because they service their wealthy customer's before anyone else. They are a joke and have a monopoly that restricts or limits or providers from being able to compete. If you have the option to get a different provider do it. That is if anyone gets to see this review since they have recently been filtering out bad reviews thanks to the roll backs of net neutrality and of course other local laws that our ignorant greedy Governor Doug Ducey rolled back and signed that has only allowed Cox to become even greedier. Yes moderators, there are many of use who know full well what you do with bad comments, so much for freedom of choice when there's profit to be made. Good luck folks. PS: the photo is of my modem after 3 hours of waiting for \their system to refresh\ at Cox. UPDATE: Well it's now been since 13:00 this afternoon and much to no avail still no Internet, so glad I get to go to Starbucks to participate in my online courses.

They tried to sneak a 100 \Internet Pro Connect Conversion\ charge on my second bill. The apartment complex I live in only allows COX internet, and said that it would take just 5 min to activate the internet. Great. The place came with a COX gateway already, and I couldn't take it out because they have some sort of lock over the connections. My complex must have some sort of deal with COX for this. Anyways, it didn't take 5 min. It took several days because a tech had to come flip a switch or something. He was here for 5 min. A month later I look at my bill and notice it's 100 higher! I talk to customer support for this incorrect charge. They insist that it is correct, and was for the tech visit. Yet I was never notified in any way prior to reading my bill? Not by the tech, not by text, not by email, not by mail, not by phone call. Customer support was acting like they were doing me a favor for \crediting my account the rate of the professional installation as a one time exception\. Thanks a bunch... It's clear they do this to see if they can slip something by you, especially if you have auto bill on (which by the way they charge you for auto bill???). I would not recommend using COX if you have a choice, and if you do, make sure you pay close attention to your bill each month.

I have been with them 25 years. The price for basic cable and internet is now 230 per month! How many times can you watch grown ups, or the basic cable re runs. But the main reason I’m writing this is the past 3 years horrible customer service. You get someone in another state with major attitude. Who has no last name, supervisor, employee number to be identified from. I thought I was on a call from crank yankers. I asked for her supervisor and she can’t transfer calls. High prices , bad phone support.
