There was a lot of employees being very shady about me knowing their names they would get offended if I asked another employee about their names. The laundry staff would mislabel of clothing so articles of clothing would be lost. The food was good. There is probably about an 80% of good stuff Hey 20% of bad staff. I suspect that I have lost cigarettes since I've been there. There is a lot of favoritism going around there on. That is not fair for the patients each patient should be treated equally there should be no discrimination no favoritism. I am a 30 years old male I am capable of talking and thinking. I need a therapy I never got therapy once I only got evaluated once after that never seen a therapist since my 4 weeks of being there or longer. When I left I had three packs of cigarettes I'm down to one back I don't know if that makes sense I'm not a big smoker. It makes me suspicious though.

Very poor conditions and the staff dosent care. Very very sad for the poor people that have to live in there care . It’s borderline abuse if not abuse. People are dying from pneumonia here because they just let them lay flat on there backs. Food is deplorable cold sandwiches for dinner.
The building is old but the people are great and take great care of my dad. The doctor there is really amazing.

Shame on you for stealing over 30 shirts I bought him over the last 15 months,some even before he even had a chance to wear them.You are stealing from a US Army Vietnam veteran who had everything in his 75 years sold because the state\didn't know he had any family\. Zero stars. The staff that cares for the residents here at desert heaven are mean, rude, unprofessional and cruel. However without the residents the cna/lna staff wouldn't have a job. The staff steals the residents stuff all the time and gets away with it very sad and petty. Some residents rooms have bed bugs and do not have Ac. Do not trust your loved ones with the desert heaven cna /lna/medical records staff!
