Awesome! Awesome!Awesome! I am not a seasoned hiker, if you also aren't then here are a few suggestions. Wear shoes that have good support and have a traction type of sole. Bring water, I finished my 16oz bottle well before the top. I was there in cool weather 1/7/21. The views are amazing and worth the effort the hike requires. We hiked the Echo Canyon trail. Parking is limited, so if you see a spot take it.

My, oh my! My love for adventure will never seize! This is the type of adventure that I love doing!!! The weather was at a perfect temperature when we started climbing but when we were coming back down, the sun became hotter. The climb is numbered from one to 36. You have to get to 36 to get the amazing, magnificent view. I and my group stopped a few times to catch our breath during the walk to enjoy the view and take pictures. We walked to mark 17 and one person in our group couldn't continue. After mark 17, the hike became much harder. The climb requires you to use more of your body to climb. A few things to keep in mind; make sure you have a bag pack of some sort with you to put your phone and water in because when the hike becomes harder, it'll require you to use your hands to climb. Another thing is to wear a comfortable hiking shoes. I wore my Fabletics gym shoe and it didn't disappoint me! Lastly, capture some photos because the view is beyond amazing. I will never stop looking at the photos I took! I'm still in awe!!

This is one of the most popular hiking spot in Phoenix and has limited parking! The best time to hike this is either early morning or when the sun is going down (to avoid crowds and the heat. It may seem like a short hike on paper but the incline is no joke. BRING WATER ON THE TRAIL! And make sure to be hydrated before you arrive! There are well maintained public restrooms at the trailhead. The trail itself is very rugged and unfortunately not suitable for children.

I decided to catch the sunrise last Saturday. The hike up is about an hour. So, plan accordingly and get there early as I quickly found out I wasn't the only one who had this in mind. Six others cars pulled in after I parked. I regret not bringing a flashlight. It's a daunting trek up to its pinnacle, but well worth your efforts. I'll definitely be back to do this again. Bring your loved one, friend or a date! Something worth experiencing with others, for sure.

This place was breathtaking!!! Challenged myself to do this hike and it was eventful. The challenge was walking up the rocky rail but I did it. Could easily be the one of the more risky things I have ever done.
