I have worked with their company, mainly through the HR Dept for quite some time. They are professional, friendly and they seem like a great group to work for. The Human Resources Dept is especially amazing!
They were very nice, and took care of me right away.
I was fired because I caught a unknown virus (covid) and missed two weeks of work. Since then I have been unemployed while trying to take care of three kids under 7 yrs old. I seen this foundation on the news on June 25th i spoke with Pearla and Nadia montijo who I submitted my paper work to. today I received a email ask for the documents again. I submitted everything because I was on unemployment in February it was exhausted. I had reapplied in august and was approved for an extension due to covid. Then I have Carrie stating the foundation wasnt going to help me cause it not covid related. So now im 4 months behind waiting on this foundation think they was going to help my family. Carrie stated that its not her fault and she aint got nothing with them taken four months to get back to me and there is nothing she can do. I can only imagine how many people are waiting on them for months just to be turned away. I will continue to look for programs that are legit and care about the community this foundation just isnt one.
Carla was completely rude. I do not recommend applying for a position. With FSL and specifically with Carla. Even though the phone call was recorded she still would not take ownership of her missing our interview time, then when I explained the person at FSL informed me that she had me down for 11am she got even more rude and said I dont know who you spoke to. Well i spoke to the only person there who called you since you left! Additionally she stated she doesnt like to waste HER time. Well what about my time? Then she says I didnt meet her qualifications. So why waste my time for an interview? It makes no sense. I get being busy, and I get writing down the wrong date or times, but own up to your errors and treat people with respect and dignity. I do not trust FSL as a transparent and honest company.
