They care so much for the kids here! The staff is friendly and helpful, they do fashion shows and have a virtual reality lab for the kids. Robin is always on the news for her community outreach! There is a school tortoise (Tortilla Steve) and a big fun friendly service dog (Apollo) What an Amazing school!

My son started at Gateway this year. So far, we are thrilled to be a part of this community. The team of educators have been tremendous. Our son actually looks forward to going to school every day!

After 3 years at Gateway Academy where they made many promises to us and told us they were the best school for our son, they decided to drop him from the school giving us only 2 days notice! 2 days before the end of school we were told that he would not be welcome back the following year, leaving us only 45 days DURING SUMMER to find him placement. Their ONLY reason? They decided they were only taking at grade level or exceptional students on the spectrum. So if your child has autism and is not at least at grade level, they are no longer welcome! 3 YEARS they have NEVER mentioned that we should look into other placement. 3 years they took district money to pay his tuition promising he would progress and do well. NOT ONLY DID HE MEET HIS GOALS BUT HIS WONDERFUL NATURE MADE HIM A FAVORITE AT THE SCHOOL. YET THAT WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH. DO NOT TRUST THEM, DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILD HERE!

If you have an unvaccinated, delayed or partially vaccinated child please don’t waste your time. After three days of shadowing, joining and enjoying the school and being told they “adored him“, we were turned away for enrollment due to their “strict immunization policy”. As this is my youngest at age 15, I had already submitted the Arizona Department of health services exemption waiver for personal reasons although our reasons are actually medical and religious as well. I generally always put personal on the form. I’ve done this for 25 years as my eldest is 29 years old. All of my children are partially, delayed or not vaccinated for many reasons. After touring in my wheelchair, with my high functioning autistic son, this was quite a shock to our family. Just letting other families know. Thank you
