Inside the establishment was clean and clutter free. There was a male worker helping a customer as I stood there for more than 5-6 minutes while a female worker was walking around talking and laughing. Another customer came in and the female worker asked the customer if she could help him. The customer said to the female worker \I believe that lady (as he points to me) was here before me.\ The female worker asked me what would I like. I said I would like 2 pounds of bacon. I noticed when she grabbed a hand full of bacon I saw where it was more fat than meat so I asked if she could grab another section.The young lady seemed to be put off when I asked for her to grab another section. I was hoping it would have more meat on the slices of bacon versus fat. Her comment to me was \they all the same \. The odds of me coming back is slim to not.

Got there 30 minutes before they closed on the day before Thanksgiving and picked up a prime rib. We'd never made this cut before and were a little nervous. Not only did the owner stop what he was doing to find the perfect cut for us, but he took the extra time to give us advice on his unique method of cooking it which we would have never found from any online recipe. It came out perfectly and was a highlight for us on a tough thanksgiving away from both of our families. Thank you, Hobe Meats!

We come from Seattle to visit family for Christmas and for the last six years we got our prime rib for Christmas dinner. It has always been spectacular every year. The meat case is always filled with magnificent cuts of meat. It's nothing like the grocery store. Needless to say I got carried away and bought a weeks worth. It may cost a little bit more but we're talking about the highest quality meats.
