Franchise owner Aaron Strough leads by example, is very respected by his employees, and has remarkable hiring practices to ensure only the best quality caregivers represent his company and take care of you. The quality of Home Instead employees is far above those I experienced during a horrible 7-month long relationship with 24-Hour Home Care Co. With Home Instead the caregivers were honest, consistently on time, knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate, respectful, eager to properly represent Home Instead, professional, friendly and skilled. Aaron and staff are consistently very proactive - which is incredibly refreshing as it takes so much pressure off the clients. My positive observation of Home Instead covers care over a 5 month period of time that was 24-hours a day. Not once - night or day - did I ever have concerns. The other company mentioned above was so bad and an incredibly reactive company that I could write a book. Aaron and Frances were absolutely wonderful. We came into a very unusual situation and Aaron’s guidance was so helpful to help get everything started. Frances was patient and kind and I wish we could have been able to keep her on longer. Highly recommend such a wonderful organization.
The support in 'caregiving' that Home Instead has provided to me and my wife over the past year has been tremendous. Their management team recognize our needs, and Melissa, my wife's caregiver, is out of this world. We look forward to her weekly visits and the time she spends with my wife is the highlight of our week. Even during this stressful 'stay at home' period Melissa has continued to keep in touch and she even provided us both with 'masks' that she made , so that we can feel safe on the few occasions that we venture our for essential groceries. I thoroughly recommend Home Instead to anyone who wants to benefit from their professional service in helping to care for those unfortunate people who suffer from Dementia.
Home Instead owner, Aaron Stough, is an excellent communicator, listens well, & finds the best caregiver and solutions given any challenge. He is highly supportive above and beyond the call of duty. In comparison to other companies and franchise owners, I find him to be an exceptional partner in caring for a family member!
