Very good BBQ! Prices you would expect for the food. Just know going in that they grill with mesquite so there is a distinct smokey flavor. Highly recommend this place. Would have 5 stars if the customer areas were more clean and had a bit more atmosphere to them.

Might be good...on another day. We all have bad days, and maybe this was one of theirs. The BBQ sauce and seemingly everything we ordered had some chili powder (or some hot spice in it) which gave everything a bite and odd flavor. I wish I could say JL's was good, but it just wasn't. The folks were friendly and service full...but, the BBQ is what I craved...and still do. Just not JL's.
This place is one of the best BBQ joints I've been to. We shared the Heavy Hitter so we could try multiple meats and sides. Everything was wonderful. The smoked sausage was our favorite, but everything was exceptional. The sides were so good. Mac and Cheese, Slaw, and BBQ beans were all perfect. Mac and cheese had the perfect hint of smokiness. We also got the hot water corn bread, which was delicious, and learned about its history. Service was outstanding, not sure how to add to that, everyone was just fantastic. Do yourself a favor and check this place out.
I ordered food today I paid 19.50 for the food.. 3 meats and 2 sides, the food was ok but they are extremely stingy on the food.. I had 4 small ribs, 2 small thin slices of brisket and a small side of mac n cheese and bbq beans..For 19.50 i would expect more food, I could have gotten more food elsewhere for less than this... I would never order from this place again..
Delicious BBQ! You can't go wrong with any of the meats!! Looking forward to going again soon!
