Joni Fitts School of Horsemanship is an amazing facility! I have ridden at JFSH countless times and I have never had a bad experience. Any rider will no doubt have a wonderful experience if they choose to ride there. The owner obviously knows what she’s doing based on the way she runs the stables and chooses instructors. I highly recommend riding at Joni Fitts School of Horsemanship for any training no matter what age or experience you have.

The staff are so resentful of the clients . They were rude and nasty to my children. I way over paid for their lessons . All they did was talk about safety the whole time. This took all the fun out of riding horses . I didn’t even go back to claim my last lesson. I would never recommend this place to anyone .

As an experienced industry professional, I'd like to make some observations. First, the facility is beautiful, and huge. You'll get lost because no instructions are provided to find the right barn and it's not intuitive. I had to stop and ask 4 people before I finally found someone. Second, I arrived a half hour prior to an INITIAL lesson. At 15 minutes to, I called Joni. She told me there was some miscommunication because the trainer we'd be with was out of town. So, at 10 minutes to the hour we left, me with a crying child in tow. 45 minutes later I get a text from the trainer asking me where I am at...?. She said she was there on the hour waiting. Odd, Joni said you were out of town. As if that weren't enough, she argued that it wasn't necessary to arrive early to a lesson. Now...... there is a flat out minimum of 20 minutes worth of work to get a horse ready for riding... For yourself. For a student driving to you, you should at minimum know if you have a healthy horse to ride and not have to deal with canceling last minute Third, when I indicated I would prefer my child to have a lesson with Joni rather than her clearly incompetent underling, she said all students get evaluated first by her.... not caring about the situation at all. I only give a 2 star review because of the facility. DO NOT GO HERE.

I started riding with Joni at the age of 8-9 years old at least- I’m now 23. I occasionally go to visit to this day. Just phenomenal, pure-hearted people who truly live and breathe horses! I love Joni and she will forever be an inspiration to me
