I give Maryland Gardens a 5 stars for the wonderful care that they give their residents. The administrator Lori is always going above and beyond for each staff member and resident even with her busy schedule. The care staff is always making sure the residents are happy and well taken care of, I would recommend anyone to bring their family members here.

I used to work for a group home for women in the 1990s. One of my clients was transferred to this facility. The rooms were like little cottages. The staff had no idea I was coming. It was a surprise visit. I saw my former client, gave her a hug, and her hair was damp, clean, and she smelled like soap and shampoo. I was impressed! :)

If you have any love for whomever you are looking to place in this facility please do NOT place them in here. My loved one has been here for a while and recently i went to visit my loved one and over heard the DON telling one of the Cna's to wipe that patients mouth. he looks like a homeless person. i also over herd her referring to one of the patients as a 'paycheck'. I can not believe that. as the DON they are supposed to be a leader an example to others and show that they care for them. very disrespectful. i wonder how she got a job there in the first place... as far as the cnas and nurses they always have a smile and are very friendly.
