I called and was greeted professionally by Richard Simmons who took all the details of my case and set me up with a next day consultation. Ultimately, I was paired with Nicole Lopez who did an excellent job at translating the legal complexities of my situation while remaining ever patient with me. I unfortunately was in the position to need to hire an attorney in Arizona for a criminal case from years past. It was actually a probation violation because I had moved away from AZ. After researching attorneys in Phoenix I decided to go with Mayes Telles. I did an initial phone interview where i laid everything out and they pretty much did as well. They discussed the cost and also offered a payment plan. I just paid all at once since they do charge more if you make payments. I would say they are on the pricier side but, I've learned you get what you pay for. I laid out to them what I expected as an outcome for that kind of money. My attorney was Candy Marrufo, she did an excellent job for me and got me the best possible outcome! My case was unique as I live over a thousand Miles away, so Candy was able to get all of my court appearances by telephone. It helped this was all during the Covid-19 pandemic. For the most part the communication channel between us was OK. Emailing seemed the best option. All in all I can say that Mayes Telles definitely got the job done and with even better results than I hoped for!
