I can't believe I have lived in this area for over 5 years and just recently visited Melrose Kitchen. This is a great diner that has been in the hood longer than I have. The omelette I got was full of fresh veggies and really filling. I was amazed with all the choices on the menu. The coffee was good and the apple juice was fresh squeezed. This is now in my rotation for a welcoming atmosphere and straight-up good grub.

So glad my first attempt to find a brunch place failed, or else I would not have found this place. I called ahead of time to make sure dining in was an option. A gentleman answered and gave me the information I needed. Long story short. I went to this place, which is gorgeous by the way, and had a very pleasing brunch. I sat in the back patio outside since it is nice out. Ordered a coffee, two turkey patties, scrambled eggs with cheese, and wheat toast. It was good. I ordered chicken enchiladas to-go as well (will update review about enchiladas once I actually eat them). The Patio area was beautiful by the way. I just loved it. I felt extremely comfortable. The energy was all positive. I will be back. I also hope they stay in business for a very long time ️

French toast was terrible no flavor. Hard boiled egg tasted like a pre packaged item. Sausage needed salt everything basically was not satisfactory at all. Needs improvement in the kitchen and service area. Best of luck.
It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat lunch at. My favorite dish is the red enchiladas with black beans and sunny eggs. The strawberry lemonades are also the best... and the service is great. Love it all. :)
