I hope somebody reads this. I disapprove of the high football spending, and I wish more of it would go to the other clubs and to academics. Some advice for new-comers: the students here speak a dialect of English incomprehensible to most true English-speakers. Most of my well-versed friends have converted to this speech that is very vague and hard to decrypt. Many of the students are excited when they get a C on a test, and believe that it is impossible to get an A unless you are born a true genius. This school is not a place for smart people, and is full of excuses for why it is that way; \we have a great football team\, \we don't have enough money\, \the teachers are incompetent\. I don't believe any of those reasons are good or true. Most people who have a fun time here don't care about their academics, and the people that get good grades are shunned or forgotten. The math is simple to say the least, and I have never gotten below a 95% in any class. The positive reviews seem to not address any of the academic problems at this school, explaining the 4.2 star rating at a school which in my opinion(obviously) deserves a 2. No one will fix these problems any time soon. Parents: Send your child do a better school if you want them to succeed, or send them here. I would not recommend this school to anyone who cares about their future, which would explain all of the students here that don't. It seems to be possible that the best students can get into ivy league colleges, but your only chances seem to lie with being valedictorian. Every year there are only a couple people trying to become valedictorian, so maybe it will be you. I wish luck to anyone who flushes themselves down this toilet, and I hope you can push through the current dragging everyone here down to rock-bottom. Have fun and be safe.
GO PRIDE!!! As a parent of MPHS I had 2- children attend and very happy with Mr. Kippers leadership! I've had to bring a couple issues to leadership and Mr. Kipper handled the situation so fast I was very impressed. My daughter graduated loving this school and my son still attends. Friendly staff, safe environment and people that truly care! Fantastic sports!
My wonderful son went here and now he is really good at making cars his dream. Thank you for this if you didn’t do it than who will huh? I just wanted to say THANK YOU!!!!!
Went there for high school. I don't know how I passed. Very easy school. Highly recommend it if you don't want to apply yourself and plan on going to community college.
