I was looking for a new eye doctor when I moved to Arizona and I came across Phoenix Ophthalmologists. From the first moment I walked in until I left I was treated with patience and kindness from everyone. I was seen by Dr. Usleman who took his time and was very thorough. When the contacts I tried on were not working for me, he gave me a few others to try and told me to come back if they still didn't work for me because they wanted to make sure I was comfortable with the contacts I was going to purchase. Then I went to pick out glasses and Espy, who works at the front desk at Van Buren Optical, told me to take my time and that there was no rush in buying frames today if I did not see any I liked. She explained the pricing and made it easy for me when I did finally decide on a frame I wanted. I would recommend Phoenix Ophthamologists to everyone, they have a great team working there and I feel very happy with my experience.

This place is awesome! I was brand new in the area (moved here from Georgia) and they were fast friendly and helped me in more ways than I ever imagined! I ended up having a pretty serious problem and the people here went wayyyy out of their way to help me. I am forever thankful and they have no idea how much this has meant to me!

I was a patient of Dr. Usleman before he moved to this location from Central Phoenix Eye, and his great service is the reason followed him. I had a visit with him today and he met my needs and expectations just as I expected. I would have given this review 5 stars but the service was very slow getting called back from the waiting room, and then a wait to see the doctor after being called back. My total time from start to finish was 1hr 50 mins, but I'm okay with waiting for great service as each staff member was very nice and easy to work with during my visit. Kirkpatrick

Dr. Van Buren has been wonderful for years but I recently used Dr. Kaci Oldroyd at the office on Tatum because it is much closer to where I live. The whole experience from beginning to end was just great. I loved that I could make the appointment on-line without having to call. Love the tech Jennifer. And Dr. Oldroyd is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. She's very gentle and it's a big plus to me that she is a woman. I was extremely pleased and will definitely go back.

I tried to become a patient today. I have vision insurance that covers an optometrist but I also need to see an opthamologist because of some eye health issues, and have recently moved to the area. I called to schedule an appointment with the MD and spoke to Alissa. She refused to take my insurance information and assured me that my health insurance would cover the MD. I called my insurance co and they said that not all doctors are in network, my medical insurance does not include eye exams and the doctors office needs to call. I called her back and she was snippy and agreed to call the insurance company. Five minutes later she left me a voicemail saying she was unable to get through to the insurance company. By then I had already scheduled with someone else.
