Terrible customer experience. I can't get anyone to respond to change my 401k allocation or any questions answered. It has been 3 months with 3 emails and zero response. I don't know if they hired unqualified people (seems most likely and is terrifying considering they manage anyone's retirement) or they are poorly staffed but I wouldn't recommend working with them. EDIT: I wish they would response this fast to internal emails as they do Google Reviews.

After three months of trying to reach somebody who can help us to set up their time-clock application, nobody is responding to our emails and phone calls. Just stay away from Paychex.

Paychex as a company has the primary role of processing payroll and it’s capacities associated with paying employees. Sadly I ran in to countless problems over and over and over again. Even with detailed emails between my accountant and what Paychex calls “account specialists” detailing each step of how to process a 401k check errors were made each year I was associated with them. Now that I’ve terminated doing business with them they honestly don’t care about the repercussions I’m dealing with the IRS. Saying it’s out of their control, they are sorry etc. For a payroll company that cannot process payroll or 401k checks correctly what can they offer private business owners like myself? Just an honest warning to others looking for a payroll company. Hopefully you are assigned a better payroll specialist and have a better experience than I did.

I have Charles Wade and Nora Madrid as My Consultants and they are both very patient and understanding. No matter how many times I ask the same question they are there to answer. They are both great to work with and clients like Paychex.

Signed up for 401k, took them 8 weeks to get deductions correct. Now our employees our missing their 401k deductions from 4 weeks ago...no one cares and no one is working on it. I wish zero stars was an option.
