After seeing the long line at the rental counter for Budget I called an audible and asked one of the other rental entities if they had any cars. They didn't, but they put me in touch with PRAC. They had their last one, for a little more than what I had reserved, which was fine on no notice. They deserve five stars for staff friendliness, courtesy. Good guys, easy, efficient to work with. They picked me up and dropped me off at airport. However, I got their last vehicle, a 2014 Accord with 168K miles on it that was beat up pretty badly. Was quite the comical car, and based on the amount of air freshener that hung in the air, it's very likely that numerous children were conceived in it. It got me to Oro Valley and back, but it had quirks like: When you hit the power door locks, the horn honked!!!! When you stuck key in door to unlock (because key fob didn't work), the horn also honked. Radio was intermittent, engine hum, quart low on oil and a few other minor things. But....based on staff and responsiveness to the need to save me from a 100 yard line at Budget, I would definitely rent from them again, but would request a better vehicle than the 2014 Accord. They need to return it to whatever college kid they borrowed it from.

Was in a bind when I arrived to the Phoenix airport. I did a Hotwire deal and it was with a company called NUCar. My flight leaving Cincinnati was scheduled at 6am. It ended up being delayed until 2 PM. We arrived in PHX at 4:30 and get to the mass car rental facility and find out that NUCar is not there, but they closed at 4 PM (we heard others say possibly 5). We called and there was no answer. I went to another company, SixT, they were out of cars. He called these guys and they picked me up within 10 minutes and had me out in a nice car. I did pay 215 more, but it didn’t matter. I had a steal on Hotwire so their price for 5 days at 400 was fair. Aryan & Jesse are super friendly and I will call them from now on when I come out here. Stay away from NUCar.
Love this place! We were in a tight squeeze and this place takes cash deposit. The car we rented was a Toyota 4 Runner and did magnificent without issues! Thank you!!
Very helpful on the phone, friendly and courteous. But he said he'll only reserve the rentals \a couple days in advance\... really? Guess I gotta book with one of the big companies instead.
Excellent place for locals to rent. Reliable cars. Dude that works there goes above and beyond to help you get a car rental. Prices are great. I highly recommend for an affordable car rental if you aren't picky about what the car looks like.
