They weren't that great. I tried them based off of the reviews. I love to try & give back to the community giving hole in the wall places a try. But they definitely arent authentic. I ordered a shrimp egg foo yung combination. It rarely had egg or enough sauce. They stuff everything in one tray. If you know what egg foo yung is there is a sauce/gravy. In which everything should not be in one tray. It was not enough sauce/gravy. Even then it was just splashed on top. The fried rice is ok. The wait is long & the customer service isnt great. The taste isn't horrible. But as you can see things add up. I wouldn't go back.

If you grew up on the south side you know Tams WAS the spot. Was because the food was fresh and the food was amazing. I don’t know if the cook changed or what. But this is not the Chinese food I grew up loving. My most recent visit I am sorry to say will be my last. Multiple times leading up to this I have received old food and dirty old cooking grease tasting food. But worst of all was my last visit in which my food was burned, I called after I had gotten all the way home. They offered to refund or replace, only If I brought the rice back. I brought it back un ate and they took it back. Listen, THEY TOOK THAT RICE BACK FROM ME PLACING IT INSIDE THE WINDOW. We are in a pandemic if you have not noticed and taking food from any individual in a food establishment is against food handlers license. Also there are no social distancing placements outside, so people stand much to close to you. The guy did not apologize but kept asking what happened after I told him. He refunded me after accidentally charging my credit card again. Smh, Will never return nor recommend this place. Two stars to acknowledge how Tams used to taste.

The food is awesome. Always hot and always fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone. It doesn't look very appealing on the outside but what's served through that window is amazing. The portions are large and tasty.

This place is amazing. The food comes out hot and ready! It looks appetizing then greets you with explosive flavors! After trying it we just HAD to order some more for an upcoming birthday party. We had no idea if they could cater a large amount but decided to ask. Let me tell you, we were not disappointed. The trays were full, delicious and more than we could have imagined. Everyone at the party LOVED the food. Thank you Tams! Continue doing what you do!

I purchased 2 combination plates that was well worth every penny. Food was fresh, delicious and plentiful. The egg foo young, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, orange chicken, lo mein, beef broccoli and egg rolls taste authentic, just how I like it. I recommend Tam's as the go to Chinese food take out. DO NOT pass on trying this place because of the outside and or location. This will be my go to place for good Chinese Food!
