I have been teaching here for over 18 years and I can honestly say without a doubt that if I had my own kids they would be going to Westwood. The staff is caring and compassionate and each child is treated fairly. I see most of the student population and all of the classes come to my door. This is definitely a Class Act School.

When I think of Westwood, there are a few things that come to my mind. First, all of the staff put the education and lives of the students and the student’s families first. Each student and their family is valued, respected, and loved. Second, is the family atmosphere among the staff, students, and families. I am so lucky that I get to be a part of the Westwood family each and every day. Third, the emphasis placed on a distraction free classroom is refreshing. Knowing that the students and teachers time in the classroom is valued and sacred, shows me that education is of the utmost importance to Westwood Primary School.
I love the school 2 of my kids attend there and hoping my 3rd one does to in 1 1/2 year but I wish they had sports for them there after school or something that would keep them moving and motivated For when they hit middle school and high school just how other elementary school do and charter schools ... other than that I love the school
I became the principal at Westwood Primary School in January of last school year. I was pleasantly surprised to see that 100% of the teaching staff has an effectiveness rating as effective or highly effective. Likewise, the quality of instruction that I observe in the classroom is unsurpassed! Way to go Westwood! Thank you for always doing what is best for kids.
I find that Westwood truly puts children first! Miss Killingsworth spends the majority of her day personally engaging with students who need one on one attention. She let's the teachers teach and students learning.
