I have attended several classes at Whisked Away and I have never been disappointed. Chef Maggie does a great job explaining the recipes and demonstrating cooking techniques. The food is delicious and it is so fun to eat in her charming house. I highly recommend her classes for all cooking levels!

My wife and I took a cooking trip/tour to Italy with Chef Maggie a few summers ago and I have taken a few of her classes. I am not a cook, but I do like to eat and drink. I was not prepared for how much I enjoyed the cooking part of the class. There was a lot of fascinating history of food and wine. It was an amazing experience. Maggie is a knowledgeable chef and a patient teacher. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and I went from zero interest in the cooking aspect of the trip to really enjoying the science and art of preparing and enjoying fine cuisine. Her class times are expanding and I am hoping to take more of her classes soon. We no longer live in Arizona, but I am hoping to take another class when we are back in Phoenix. They are a lot of fun and an evening class is a perfect \date night.\ Thanks again for a great experience.
I was given a gift certificate as a gift for a cooking class, and I was so excited about it! Unfortunately, they offer maybe 1 class a month, and it is always full. I tried getting on waiting lists for almost a year and no luck getting into her 1 class a month that she offers. I then called the owner to inquire about how I could get registered, and she was very rude and didn't seem to care so I asked for a refund for the person that spent 200 on a this gift certificate. Terrible customer service. Terrible attitude. Very disappointed.
Celebrating my BIG birthday with the gift of Wisked Away personal Chef party was an amazing and fabulous present. Maggie presented her culinary skills and knowledge to us with such patience and gentleness, yet kept us on track for our gourmet dinner. We learned, practiced and relished in her well thought out menu. I have already signed up for one of her classes and look forward to gleaning as many techniques, skills and menu ideas as possible from her. If you want a evening filled with delectable courses, fun atmosphere while you dig in and assist, this is the right choice! Do it...you won't be disappointed!
We just love our experiences at Whisked Away. Apart from learning the preparation tips and tricks for wonderful cuisine, we never fail to meet the most interesting people when we all sit down to share what we created.
