Working at YRC'S all over the country. This Phoenix location is the cleanest and best kept one so far even with the dock being loaded. Just makes it hard for us and contractors with the access control entry. Having to knock on the door for someone everytime you need to get into the building

I had a horrible experience with this company. I paid for shipment from Dallas to Phoenix. Business to Home delivery. Right now they delayed 1 week from the estimated delivery time. It was supposed to 2 to 3 days. It has been 9 days. Now they are saying that they cannot deliver as the cargo cannot be delivered to a residential address, even with a lift gate option. Customer service agent (I believe her name was Nancy) was so rude and just repeating. Sorry, we cannot help you and you need to find your own solution. I don't know what to do now. Do they not feel accountable and responsible? They have my money and cargo. I don't know how to fight this situation. An update to my shipment. After probably 20 phone calls, I was able to get a quote to re-route the shipment. I moved it to a warehouse next door to where the YRC Freight was. They charged a staggering 690. The cost from Dallas to Phoenix including pick up and drop off was 800. Change to the destination (new is 1 mile vs old was 25 miles) is 690 more. You can figure if you want to continue using YRC.
My order was delivered to the Phoenix station on Dec 28, 2020 They scheduled delivery on the 6th of January and they no show. Tried to call left many massages, no response. Mail box has been full for two weeks now. Called main company headquarters, basically told I was at the Phoenix terminal's mercy on when it would be delivered. Here I am the 2nd of February, still no delivery one when it would be delivered. Poor responses and bad business practice.
SHIP WITH YRC AT YOUR OWN RISK!!! They lost this 400lb pallet, over 10k worth of materials and never once tried to contact me, their customer to report a problem. 18 days after they lost it our customer called asking about the status of their delivery. That's when we discovered the problem. We initiated the claim thereafter. After two weeks of searching they still can't find the pallet they lost, even though we attached a label with the destination address on all 4 sides and now they are dragging their feet with the claim and will only and maybe pay a pittance of what its worth and only after making us wait between 30 and up to 120 days. My customer who is missing their product is not going to wait 30- 120 days to find out the status. This is strike two with this carrier and based on their handling of the situation I would suggest NEVER using YRC Freight and paying more for an alternative unless you are comfortable in loosing your shipments!
