Hands down, one of the best haunted houses I've ever been to. I moved to South Carolina from Chicago 2 years ago and they spend a lot of money on haunted houses in Chicago. Sometimes they cost 100 and our three stories tall. The creativity of this honest house was second to none, some of the rooms were so inventive and so creepy whoever is in charge collaboratively really has their stuff together. Definitely worth the cost to go here. Can't wait to go back next year

I had an excellent time at Mad World. I bought the VIP package which included a fast pass, a behind-the-scenes tour and game tickets. There were so many different parts to the haunted attraction, you definitely got your money's worth. The behind-the-scenes tour was actually given by one of the co-owners, Tim. He gave a very insightful tour and answered a lot of questions. He showed a variety of areas including the makeup and costume rooms. He explained how the ideas for Mad World were created and spoke of the differences from the past 10 years. I enjoyed being able to interact with the characters outside the main attraction. I like that you can purchase a Medallion and The Medallion keeps you from getting scared so bad, this is great for the younger kids. You can still have a family night without worrying about the scare Factor.

What an amazing experience!!! Madworld absolutely excels when it comes to creating a spooky and unnerving atmosphere, and maintaining it throughout the haunt. The variety inside of the haunt was incredible as well. Jump scares don’t really work on me ever, but they balanced the jump scares with actors who created a truly terrifying atmosphere, so it was super enjoyable. I really like that it wasn’t all jump scares. Overall, a great haunt, and well worth the money and hour-long wait. In addition, the front of house actors were great, especially the doorkeeper at the entrance to the haunt (Madge, I think?) who totally stole the show. Five stars!!

Really cool place, had a lot of photo opportunities, and actors will play around and have fun with you. Lots of jump scares!! I enjoy and understand that being scared is part of the fun, but if you have kids or someone in your group who doesn't want to be scared can purchase a little light you wear around your neck and the actors won't scare you. I had a blast!!

Just visited tonight with a few friends! Honestly one of the scariest but funniest nights of my life. The acting and rooms are incredibly done! The costumes are so cool and realistic looking! Actors are amazing but also while waiting in line for the trail they will take pictures with you! Totally willing and excited to come back next year! Highly recommend for the Halloween season! No better way to celebrate Halloween!
