Took my 5 year old daughter into ER for an open chin wound from falling on cement. Our experience wasn't pleasant. First off, if someone comes in bleeding all over, the least you could do is put on some gauze, a band aid, or offer a towel while we wait in waiting room instead of letting it soak into more personal tissue we luckily had available. Even a stranger would offer that to someone, let alone a paid employee who's job is to evaluate the situation. After waiting 2.5 hours (Obviously put on the bottom of priority list after watching other people come in after and leave before us), we finally got seen by a frantic female doctor with nails holes ripped through her gloves BEFORE taking them off to check my daughter with no attempt to wash her hands, and continued to tell my daughter the next part is going to hurt more and to stop crying. Remind you, she is 5 and your squeezing her chin with glue, of course she is going to cry. I found this to be extremely unprofessional due to the lack of proper procedure. We weren't even taken back to a room. I won't be back. I do not recommend.

The overall staff were fine, the nursing practitioner was too busy to check if Toridol will agrivate Atrial Fibrilation which is what I'm fighting. She just informed me they don't have a cardiac doctor in the ER and no one will give me a definitive answer. Would it have killed her to look it up. Do they have access to a pharmacist......I do, I called one after I got out. She gave me the impression of not wanting to bother.

Terrible experience. Rude and unprofessional staff. If someone who has had 8 heart attacks and has a pacemaker comes in with chest pain it should be treated as an emergency not given a Tylenol and sat in a room unattended for hours. The triage nurse was extremely rude. If you're tired or overworked that is no excuse to be rude especially if your dealing with patients in a professional setting. If you have a choice go to a different hospital
